The DEX Deaf Youth Council (DDYC) met this month to sign about Wellbeing and the Live Well project.

There was good attendance, welcoming new members and people who had not been for a long time!

Peter Shaw, Deaf consultant, explained the 5 Ways to Wellbeing:

1) Contact

2) Be active

3) Notice

4) Keep learning

5) Give.

The DDYC looked at how to use the 5 ways throughout life for good mental and physical health.

The members will be planning its programme, starting with sports next month!
