The Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) meets on Wednesday and Thursday this week to discuss the UK.

In 2011 DEX was asked by the Equality and Human Rights Commission to submit its Shadow Report to the government’s response, and it was sent off that year.
The Committee on the Rights of Disabled Persons asked for an update report in 2016 and we sent our published research paper, which found that BSL is a severely endangered language and how to support its revival.
