TRAINING

  • DEX has a highly experienced Board and staff team who have delivered training to a wide variety of audiences, including Teachers of the Deaf, parents of deaf children, mainstream teachers and Speech and Language Therapists.
  • We can deliver short training sessions in Deaf Awareness and basic British Sign Language, or longer training sessions which include more in-depth information about deaf history, culture and language.
  • We are happy to deliver training in person, or remotely via Zoom or Teams.
  • We can also provide guest speakers for events and conferences to share learning from our research and project work with deaf young people.
