What a day yesterday was 🤩

For the last few months, DEX have been planning an away day with deaf young people from mainstream schools and deaf resource bases in Bradford and Kirklees! We went to Bradley Wood Activity Centre in Brighouse. The deaf young people got the chance to be active, have fun, socialise with each other and share their Deaf Experience! The feedback at the end of the day was fantastic!

Here are a few quotes from the deaf young people:

“I have the best time ever!”
“I have the best day today 🙂Hope to see you again”
“I loved the zip wire! I made a new friend too!”

The teachers were really positive about the experience too. Here are some of their quotes:

“What an amazing day! The students have had a fabulous time!”
“An amazing fantastic day! I just loved the smiles of all the students”
“What an amazing experience, it was brilliant! Thanks a million!”

Thanks so much to everyone who came, and we hope to see some of you at our DDYH events🙂
